Some poor sap on FML was too heavy for one of these things...

My kids love our Wii Fit. The device fits more to the eastern view of balance, flexibility, and controlled paced moves rather than our more aerobic and sweat intentioned exercise views in the west. Given my wife's yoga and low-impact workout style, I thought she would really like this, but it's a no-go for her.
I use it occasionally, and as I said, our kids really like it. I've also gotten Wii Active, which is much more to my liking.

I've been on a gradual return to working out (been running for last 6 months)and now have added Fit workouts/games/yoga on off nights. 1/2 hour gets your heart going and there's definitely a workout for the core muscles.
The games are simple, but they seem to be having an impact.
Glad I bought my Fit.
I'll need to look into the Wii Active next.

Got mine at Costco for less. Just have to catch them when they are in stock.

Get this if you have the Wii... you can set goals and it keeps you on task. It keeps track of your weight and keeps you honest.
