I have ordered from these people twice and both orders have had problems. One order was embarrassingly dead and the other had the wrong flowers in it.

I agree with #1. I ordered flowers for my mother for Mother's Day. The flowers they sent were dead. While they did send a replacement, I will not order from them again. It may sound funny, but Walmart.com has always sent flowers for my loved ones without any issues. They seem to last longer then flowers sent by major florists (FTD etc.).

had no problem with the one order i placed with 1800flowers, but i tend to order from proflowers based on their selection and i've consistently had success with them.

I've always ordered from Proflowers as well. Never had a problem with the orders and always arrived on time. The only time I had an issue with a dozen roses, 2 flowers came dead - and they replaced it with a dozen new ones.

1800flowers.com is a great service. They even sent me a thank you card, haha. Anyway the past two times I ordered made my girlfriend real happy. Personally I haven't seen the flower quality but the customer service was excellent.

I would look for some asian florist and ask for Hong Kong wrap. The wrappings are very creative, and nice, instead of those boring old style. They are a little expensive, but hey, you get what you pay for. Something like this, but nicer

I order from 1800flower on valentine days last year. The flower come quick but not as fresh as I was expected.

I've had trouble with the quality of the flowers a couple of times, but the customer service is excellent. They replace the wilted flowers with brand new ones the next day, no questions asked. I am definitely a return customer, all the way.
