purchased pavilion dv2500t dec 2007 ... march 2009 the laptop stop working, only get black screen at power-up. serial number not part of recall, although have same symptoms of recalled units. MFG very unhelpful. Now have a $1000 paperweight -- not happy, & will not recommend.
