Ok deal. I know Apple Store refurbs are supposed to be really good, but that's a pretty meager discount off new.

If I could cheaply/easily upgrade the drive to Blu-ray, I'd be over this in a heartbeat. Oh well.

tax in CA would make it $550, on line retail is about $580 shipped. So save $30 for a refurb.
why would anyone spend $500+ to learn Leopard on a handicapped machine?! There's hackintosh for most PC...

i agree definitely overpriced. you don't need to spend 500 to learn leopard and plus its outdated and refurbished???

I'd look into emulators and run leopard on a pc over this thing. I will admit though, I wanted something of this form factor for a few years now just never got around to pulling the trigger. It takes a puddy knife to open it up and upgrade the harddrive, ram, and bluray.

not hard to upgrade the mini as long as you don't freak from the popping sounds when you open the case.

#11 I've heard that you can get a VMware image off bittorrent.
Not a legal way to get a running OS though.
