I haven't done much research on projectors but that resolution just doesn't seem to be very good. You'll obviously get great standard movie quality but what about your picture from an HD gaming console?

I own 2 dlp projectors, its not that difficult to find them at good prices, one that I got is a Optima and it features 1080p resolution and DLP. The one thing that might bug you is since it is dlp when you (look) scan across the screen you get a RGB rainbow effect on the image which would make a faster paced video game very difficult on the eyes.
