It is a regular price plus very average reviews - no deal at all.

The "deal" is that for $70.00 you get one of the best multi-phone systems available. I've had this same system for over a year now and it is great. Clear / very good reception / programmable / intercom. Very pleased and well worth the money.

Philips phones are not so reliable.
#2 let's see what you will say in next 3 months or so.
BTW, 1 year ago this set had over $100 sticker.
I will go with Panasonic or Uniden any way.

I bought a "Panny" system and promptly returned it to the store after taking a dump on it. Last I heard some dumb douche nozzle bought it on Ebay.

Still as unfunny as the last 20 times you used this line but thanks for trying.

Wow, I can't believe that the state of Hot Deals is such that this is still on the front page.
I've owned a two handset, no answering machine, version of this Philips phone for around 3 years. Voice quality is pretty good, speaker phone quality is very good, phonebook is so-so with the nicest feature being that you can assign entries to different groups and give those groups unique ring tones, battery life varies from good to complete crap. Battery life is OK unless there is a missed call and the missed call LED is flashing. That LED sucks the life out of the batteries so quickly that the charging base can barely keep up.
