Not good for an AMD CPU. cuz the area of the coper backing plate is smaller than the back suface of an AMD chip. It will leave out some of the edge area of an AMD chip un-cooled.
But it just fits for an Intel CPU though.

I got this one for my server with a thin case, but I have not put it on my comp yet. This cooler is not for crazy overclocking, its just to change the stock fan to something better.
