Skip the Philips phones. As #2 said, poor reviews on Newegg. Reviews are much better for AT&T or Panasonic DECT phone systems. My advice would be stay away from any electronics made by Philips. In the past 5 years I made the mistake of purchasing an under-counter DVD/radio, 2 CD clock radios and one cordless phone by Philips. All but one of the CD radios made it past the warranty periods before they stopped working. The DVD screen stopped about 4 months after the warranty expired, the phone made it 1 year and the other CD radio made it about 2 years. Not a very good track record for reliability. I won't touch anything with the Philips name on it now.
