Good keyboard and mouse... but the deal isn't much of a deal.

yeah...$80 for a cordless kb/mouse duo isnt much. Plus I've had bad experiences with their cordless kb

I bought this combo in costo for $59 a year ago. The keyboard is great, but the mouse has a bit of a lag when trying to use it in fast pace FPS gaming. I use the Logitec MX5000 wired moust instead.

not that good of a deal. I have this combo. They keyboard is great but the mouse is not that good. It consume a lot of battery life.

Not sure what everybody is talking about, the MX1100 has excellent battery life, I've used mine for 3 months now and it says I still have 60 days of battery life, all on 2 AA Duracells. I never touched wireless mice because of lag, but I've actually enjoyed using this one. Then again, I haven't really been playing FPS games using it either so I guess it depends on the use. Keyboard is great, I like the feel of the rubbery palm rest, although I would still recommend using a wrist pad to prevent carpal tunnel. Media buttons are hard to get to, requires you to pick up your hand (which I never do) so they are more of a feature unused.
