Refurbished does not bug me as much as how about at least 1 full year of warranty???
Eh, so-so deal (nothing to brag about).

Wouldn't touch a refurb HDD, or one without at least 3 year warranty.

I have bought, used at least 200 HD's in the last several years (system builder part time). HD prices have come down so much in the last year I can see paying $60 for a referb drive when 1TB drives go for $85ish on newegg all the time with a 3 year warrenty. I have in years past bought Referb drives (when prices where higher and you could save close to $100 on large drives). I know I put at least 20+ referb drives in X-BOX's and never had a fail that I heard about. I'm not scared of referb, but at current prices, 3 or 5 years of warrenty is worth $15-20 bucks more to me.

Fry's currently has a 750gb WD for $64 OTD. Three year warranty.

I wouldn't take the risk of 750GB or whatever data you have on the drive. Maybe if it's a backup of a back up? But other than that, I wouldn't chance any data like that.

Geeks is the worst. "Supported By: www.seagate.com" means they will not give you another drive if you receive it broken. They'll send you to Seagate to deal with it.
