Cheapest I've seen yet.
I have mixed feelings about it.
In theory sounds good, but in reality I'm not too sure.

I've got a Drobo and love it -- I use it with the DroboShare for network-attached storage. Media storage, backup destination, Time Machine backup.

It's a nice piece of hardware but it's just too expensive. If you have the money to spare, I guess it's a good item - but for most of us, $300 buys a really decent NAS that will do RAID and has drives already included. Or you can buy a small dedicated PC to handle your data storage needs.
$300 and it doesn't even have an Ethernet port.

Get you a Thecus N4100PRO for $370 at Buy.com or Acer WHS for $390 at Newegg.com. These two NASs work a million smarter than the overpriced Drobo.
