If the record quality is good, this is perfect for me. I have a brazillian old lps and now I can convert to mp3. Sign me up.

Does anyone know if this turntable accepts the Concorde style cartridges if you remove the headshell?

I usually check woot deals before buying also. But this time Woot was the cheapest.

#3, how do you know you are getting better results? Have you tried this?

the plural of vinyl is vinyl.
also, if you care about better sound quality, you probably would want to spend more on a turntable, but as a very budget, entry-level turntable, then this is acceptable.

#2, I've got you beat. I've got a Somalian of old LPs.

This is adequate. Nothing more, nothing less. But it's cheap.

#2 & #11...I've got you both beat. I've got a Himalayan of old LP's. Top that!

You will still probably need Audacity to clean up the pops, clicks, lead-in/out groove noise, etc. Be prepared for a long afternoon. As LP's are made from headroom-limited tapes, you might not need anything more sophisticated than this puppy.

#9 Yes I got one while it just came out. I have a collection of more than 1000 Lps on my shelf and I do hope it can beat my setup so I can enjoy the convenient. However I return it in 3 days since the sound quality is much worse than my old set up. It's no meaning to convert if the sound quality is not acceptable. ....
