Fault again Ben. Free case disc, not free media.

I'm going to wait to see who wins the format war: Blu-Ray or HD DVD.

HD-DVD clearly won. Have you seen how much the price of Blu-Ray drives is dropping, in a desperate attempt to gain market share?

So what's the closest Bluray equivalent to DVDShrink, DVD Decrypter and/or RipIt4Me out there today?

Anyone have much experience with LG drives? I have one 8X notebook drive that makes a lot of strange noises when it is spinning up but so far has worked great. I know that comparing a slim drive with this is apples and oranges. I have asked this several times and never got an answer but does anyone know why we seem to be stuck at 8X on slim drives? Thanks

Wow, this is what I paid for the LG BDROM/HDDVDROM/DVDRW combo drive a year or so ago. Must be what #3 said.

This works well the Ridata 4X BD-R. I have burned more than 200 with only a couple of coasters. I write at 3X just to have a safety margin. Ridata BD-Rs can be had for around $2.40 each if you shop around. They play just fine on PS3s and Samsung set-top BD players.

@#5 AnyDVD for getting around all the protections and BD Builder for reauthoring. See the link below for a more complete hashing:
