Very nice running/biking GPS. My friend had this and I was very impressed with all the features. Nice to see speed/pace, and an accurate distance traveled. I think Costco was selling these with a coupon for about this price.. but this seems very good deal for this nice GPS watch.

Reminds me of my old Fossil Wrist PDA, although this seems like it could actually be useful. Smile

This is actually an impressive item from Garmin. Not a very good price for it though. I think you may be able to find it cheaper elsewhere.

Anyone know how heavy this is? Is it comfortable?

Would it also be good for hiking/backpacking?

This is one massive watch. Definitely not for the limpwristed.

#6 I used it for many half marathons and two full marathons as well as many 10+ miles training runs. It is big but it is actually good because it has a big screen. You can see your pace, heart rate, cadence, and distance in one big screen without the need to change your running form too much. For hiking I don't think it work that well get a regular gps unit will be better. It is more a training/race performance monitor.

I use these as ankle weights. At a bulky 10 lbs each, they work well.

    Work well, but too heavy.
