Now here is a great deal! They have good user ratings at Resellers.....

The only bad thing I can say about the knock off brand of this toy is that the power supplies typically do not last long. but for 10 bucks it can save your bacon.

I got this awhile back and it works ok, the power connector is really cheap and takes a bit of effort to get it connected. But in all its worth the $8 I paid for it.

Cheaper on ebay

Have one and it works well - as mentioned, the power connector itself is very handy.

The nice thing about this package is it will read ANY PC internal hard drive around today. Great for pulling off the last bits of jetsam off your old drive before you save it for no good reason whatsoever.

#5 - it doesn't read SCSI drives.

But this isn't bad. I picked up a Rosewill version for about the same price and it has served me well as a tech. It stays in my bag due to its usefulness.

One of the best thing I ever bought. I used it to recover data.

I have the Rosewill one too, but it cost me almost $20. If only I would have waited!!!!

too many different cables to keep track of - i've used it so many times, on so many sites that I've misplaced the pata-sata power adapter. If it included a nice carrying case for $3 more, it would be perfect.

Really convenient to have doing external drive backups. Aslo saves the cost/hassle of using an external enclosure. pretty good price for the lot.

#9 It's a $10 item. You don't think a large Ziploc bag could suffice?

Go buy a bottle of Crown Royal and use the bag it comes in for a touch of class!

#11 You stole my line. Ziplock bag. Or the box it came in maybe? That's what I keep mine in. Or I rubberband the stuff together.
