Don't buy from Woot they do not have a decent return policy. As a matter of fact they don't deal with returns at all.

BS #4, just send them an email and the issue and they'll send you an RMA .... yes, you will have to foot the return postage

#5 they will not issue you an RMA they will tell you that you must go through the manufacturer ... read the fine print on their site for returns ... trust me on this one ... I know from experience what I am talkig about. Just ask them and they will tell you, returns for exchange or refund must be made to the manufacture. You buy it and you are on your own to battle it out with the maker, Woot does not get involved period.

Interesting discussion re: Woot. #10 Thanks for lifting a finger and providing the link. Here is an interesting quote from Woot, which more or less proves that #4 and #5 are both right:
"Will I receive customer support like I'm used to?
No. Well, not really. If you buy something you don't end up liking or you have what marketing people call "buyer's remorse," sell it on eBay. It's likely you'll make money doing this and save everyone a hassle. If the item doesn't work, find out what you're doing wrong. Yes, we know you think the item is bad, but it's probably your fault. Google your problem, or come back to that product discussion in our community and ask other people if they know. Try to call the manufacturer and ask if they know. If you give up and must return it to us, then follow on to the next FAQ entry.
How do I return a defective product?
Unless we specifically tell you not to, call the manufacturer of the product you bought. You will likely get a replacement of a new model or better item from them. If we still haven't dissuaded you, email rma@woot.com with your woot order number, the name of the product you are returning, and the detailed problem with the item. We will respond with return authorization by the next business day. Because we aren't likely to have a replacement in stock, you should be prepared for a refund-only option if that's all we can do. Know that return freight will be at your expense. Again, you will probably get a better deal from the manufacturer, or whoever else handling member service for that product. "

Just buy a cover for it, #13. Nobody will know the difference, and nobody will care anyway.

My 1 and only return for DOA from Woot I dealt directly with Woot and was quick and easy. I understand they keep stock aside for RMA's contrary to what their policy page says.

I see these EXACT same players at the Oceanside (North County San Diego) swap meet going for $100+... I love watching the "no habla Ingles" Mexicans buy 'em @ that price.

Is there any connection between Buy.com and Woot? Reason I ask is that they often have specials on the same products in the space of a few days - coincidence?
