This looks like a nice item to give as a gift.

Don't these break easily? I have one, and it's starting to fall apart. I've only used it around 20 times.

#2 - I wouldn't worry about it. The pansies that would buy this in the first place, would have a hard time breaking their way out of a wet paper bag.

I never understood the need for fancy cork pullers. I use a waiter's corkscrew (sommelier knife) and it's cheaper, more robust, and easier. As for stoppers, just finish the bottle.

we picked one up for $15 from Costco a few years back.. still works like new. If this one is fairly sturdy.. seems like an OK deal. I'm not professional enough to deal with a waiter's corkscrew all the time.

There are quite a few decent wines these days with screwtops.
