    Most who receive refurb'd Sansas have no trouble with the battery for quite awhile, they appear to have the majority of their battery life remaining and in some cases appear to be brand new whiteboxed products, not products somehow returned from retail channels.

    On the other hand, eCost has had a bad reputation with selling all kinds of refurbished products that did not look refurbished at all. People have claimed dirty, worn, damaged products were received instead of what more reputable sellers call refurbished.

    Frankly I'd look for a Sansa at Newegg, Woot, even Buy.com instead.

    Dont buy from these guys they will rip you off and hassle you if you need to return it. Read the reviews I wish I had first.
