I have this. It's so so. The design could have allowed for compacting the light part down into the base but they didn't do it so it's too little light for car camping and too big for backpacking.

Works well for me. Poor hook design, but for $2.49, what should you expect?
Maybe my expectations are low, but I liked mine enough to order a second one. It doesn't light the room, but it puts out a lot of light, it's small and the battery life is good. Best of all it uses AA batteries, so it runs longer and cheaper than the AAA type LED lamps.
