800 x 480 is the same resolution more decent 8" frames are coming with. Seems kinda low for 11", anybody seen one of these to know if the picture looks good?

No clue, but my acer aspire one has better res on 11.6"

The resolution won't be great but not that bad either. About like a 640x480 on a 10 or 12" monitor. That's all people had 20 years ago.
