There is a noticable improvement in the picture when you use one of these cables. Be sure to change the settings on your system when you change to this. This is a decent price I think I paid $6.00 for mine.

It is a very noticeable difference. BTW, dealextreme shipping will take at least two weeks longer than eforcity.

From what I hear, component cables are important for newer TVs like LCD's are Plasmas which show progressive imaging (480p) as opposed to old CRTs which show interlaced (480i). Once you get the cable, its important to change your Wii settings to progressive.
This should improve clarity and input lag, as the TV will no longer have to convert an analog / interlaced signal to a digital/ progressive one. I noticed too much lag to successfully play mike tysons punchout (NES) on the Wii virtual console, so i'm hoping this will do the trick.

component cable helps make the picture quality much better. remember to change the setting from the wii menu.

If you shop hard enough, these come bundled with a Wii remote charger. There has to be a difference from the standard issue RCA plug the Wii comes with. go for it, grab one, or two!
