Fifty batteries for 9 shipped?

Holy crap. That's a lot of batteries.

That is a lot of batteries. I've known some people that go through almost that many on a typical Christmas Day. I don't know how the battery life is but for that price I think it's worth taking a chance on.

The minimum shipping is $1.99. Am I doing something wrong?

These batteries must stink, i have had bad experiences with cheap batteries, you find yourself changing them every freaking week! Probably not worth it..but you can try!

Checked it out further, they give 45 day guarantee, so maybe worth a shot, if they were not ALREADY sold out, dang!

you can't use alkaline batteries in a digital camera. you need those gold ones. I bought the 94 cent wal-mart brand and they didn't do crap. I had to upgrade to the 99 cent only store batteries which have the gold ones for 99 cents and work just fine. Some times Radio Shack has a sale of batteries 5 packs for $10 for the gold ones. But for alkalines you might as well go to Wal-Mart and get the 94 cent store brand for 4 whenever you need them snd don't bother with this company that is sold out. Don't do me any favors.

Staples has 4-packs of rechargeable batteries as cheap as $7.50. Do yourself and your local landfill a favor by buying batteries that you won't toss out after a day or two. Rechargeable batteries do pay for themselves, especially if you use a wireless mouse and keyboard.

If you're using this many batteries, seriously, you should be using rechargeables. Not only are they better for the environment, they hold more power too, and that's *every charge*.

I use rechargables personally, but if you don't this seems like a good deal. From the handful of reviews I've read it doesn't seem like there's much a difference between generic and brand name batteries in this range.

This is a great deal. I remember a similar deal for Panasonic AA's on Ben's Bargains almost a couple years back that I jumped on, and I still have a couple left over ha. For 9 bucks, why not?!

Definitely use rechargables for your cameras and what not. But I always find having alkalines around the house is very helpful. Many times you don't have time to recharge those items you use only occasionally, like a hair trimmer (for the back of my husband's neck)!

Battery life fades out with time. You buy this much and keep several months or years, then virtually you are losing prorated life of battery power. God sake, why you think they do have prorated gurantee on battery?
