I got one of these a while back for a bit cheaper than this. It's a good basic monitor. Colors are pretty good, a few of the programs I use are a bit dark so I have the brightness up a bit which does make the desktop and some stuff a bit washed out but if you tweak things enough you'll get them to where you like them.

Acer screens, at least the ones over 19", seem to have their color off and tend to be a bit fuzzy.

I got one also. Running strong for about 2 years now. Like # 2 said it is a good basic monitor.

As mentioned, this is a decent budget monitor. But the price hasn't changed much in a very long time. It was about this same price in March, and probably earlier.

can't believe how cheap these are now.

I have two of these in a dual setup, and I was able to tweak everything to be pretty damn near perfect. Sure, they're not as good as my friend's 24" dell that he paid $700 for, but they are sufficent for my needs, and people buy my photo prints after I do the color correction with these monitors, so I guess they're good enough...

Throw in a wallmount from monoprice, and you're set. Very Happy

# 8 I paid $ 190 shipped for this monitor 2 years ago. So $ 50 or 26 % cheaper. Not to bad.
