3.5" woofers? Klipsch is a good brand, but I don't see good mids and low-mids coming from such small speakers. I would want something between 5-6.5" for a good HT experience.

You really need the matching subwoofer. I have a 2+1 Klipsch on my computer and they are great ($100).

#1 Just like any other satellite speakers they need a good subwoofer. These are actually some of my favorite satellite systems, but I prefer a 5.1 bookshelf system to a satellite system.

I second.. #2.. and #3. I had their quartet system and it was great. Paired it with a JBL Music 2 sub (circa '94, class A amp.. kinda sucky) and it was beautiful
