Have this model bolted to my work bench. Pretty good saw for your average handy man type work. Be careful, the laser sight can fall offline -- you'd do better not to trust it.

I would probably go for the 10" delta. Not terribly more expensive but it seems the motor has a longer duty cycle.

The Craftsman slider goes for around $180. Uses one and love it.
The Craftsman miter saw seems to be pretty good quality.
