I've seen this model selling refurbished at other stores lately too. Not a good sign. Circuit City aka Tigerdirect had open box Samsung 1500s for about $130 that would probably be a better deal than this or the refurbed Sonys and came with the full manufacturer warranty. Although it is Tigerdirect, at least there was no rebate.
