    Had nothing but problems with the 1TB version of this drive. RMA'ed one that kept randomly hanging windows and got a replacement that becomes unbootable every once in awhile due to bad sectors. You get what you pay for, apparently.

    Funny, I've had just the opposite experience. Own several of these series drives from Seagate... use them a lot and fairly hard, and no problems whatsoever over the last 6-9 months. Seems like a good price to me.

    i had problems with the 1TB version as well. end up to find out that it does not like be partitioned. i have no problem since then.

    i've killed drives from all manufacturers... good that the spinning disks are coming down in price (and this is a great price), but i really need an affordable flash version :\
