not really a good deal, meritline.com has something that looks identical for $9.99 http://www.meritline.com/iphone-3g-backup-battery-800mah-048---p-28946.aspx.

#1 ..Well if it is only half the "mAh" I would assume it would be half the cost

own one, not bad for travel, long waits in the airport etc - but dont expect to keep this hanging off the end while you use it, put it in a pocket etc

and a huge bummer - no sync through; effectively defeating the use of this and a portable speaker dock or charging while syncing

is this thing rechargeable?
