I bought this player 2 weeks ago.
Pros: easy to set-up. it delivers very picture. This has a preview screen which WD doesn't.
Cons: the remote control is suck. The fan is loud that your neighbor could hear.

This would have been great 5 years ago when it was worth the trouble to download things. Basically this is only useful to the person who watches a LOT of foreign TV series. And the RMVB is important to people who download a lot of Asian soap operas as the format is for some strange reason popular over there.
But #2 does hit on a critical point: the lack of ethernet severely limits this unit, and as it most likely runs embedded Linux, adding ethernet probably wouldn't cost the manufacturers much more than a kernel patch and web interface.

#5 has a goodish point; WD TV is about the same price. WD TV doesn't have RMVB though, which is pretty important if you watch much Asian television... lots of things come only in RMVB.
