paid way more than that for mine. Nice TV. not the sharpest thing to look at but far above average in this price range

Will they ever come out with a larger than 1080p TV, or is that about the biggest we can expect. I have a 720p right now and is the 1080p a lot better?

Comparing 1080p with 720p depends on several factors. Size of the tv, viewing distance, and source to name a few. I'm not an expert by any means, but in a lot of situations 1080p isn't going to give you much of a benefit. I believe the only thing that produces 1080p is Blueray. HD broadcasts are only in 1080i at best I think.
I'm sure they will come out with higher resolutions TV's, but the sources for the higher resolution will lag behind.
