Same price at amazon. Reviews there and at newegg do not inspire confidence.

This new design just acts as a heat collector. I bought the 610N - without a doubt the worst router I ever owned. Died after a month. Replaced it with a D-Link and haven't looked back.

Why, oh why did they abandon the classic blue box??

Had to ditch Fios and go back to Comcast after my bill magically jumped $70 per month. Thus, I needed to supply my own router. I picked this up from Staples two weeks ago for the same price listed here, and it's going back to the store. Total junk. The range was worse than my very old Netgear B-router. It feels cheap, and I've had to reboot the router several times. Lots of forums and reviews talk about hacking/flashing linksys routers with 3rd-party software for better results; however, I just need something that works out of the box - I have enough projects in my life.

I don't understand why so many routers are saddled with buggy firmware. There doesn't seem to be a single company that makes routers with good firmware. The closest were probably the D-Link DIR-655 prior to the 1.3x firmwares...

    Shit reviews on Newegg too.
Linksys really drop the ball on this one, too bad.
