These need to start dropping to $200 levels if they really want to move them. I'm interested, but I don't want to spend $300-$400 on it.

how do these compare with the bowflex dumbbells?

How well do these last? Will they be usable 10, 15, even 20 years from now like normal dumbbells?

#4, dumbbell technology progresses pretty quickly so you would be better off weighting on these. Seriously though, it depends on how you use them. They have locking plates that might get cracked if you are throwing them around like kettle bells. But for normal curlz for tha girlz you should be fine (at least if you were into girls you would be fine).

You will need to buy an adapter to make these still usable in 20 years for when everyone has grown 3 extra fingers from nuclear fallout. So keep that in mind before you invest.

#5, if your "girl" is throwing around 50lbs dumbbells in each hand, you might want to call Adam because he seems to have misplaced his apple and I think you might know where it is.

I have yet to try one of these that felt safe. To me each of those plates feel real loose regardless of what weight I set them too.

#7, the phrase refers to a man doing curls to impress the girls. Curls for the girls.

I've been tossing around the idea of buying some weights for home--having a four-and-a-half month old takes too much time and saps too much energy to go to the gym. But $300 is a bit pricey, and a $5 code does nothing to provide an incentive.

#12, I stand corrected. #5, my apologies to your wife, Fred. Wink #11, Stop fantasizing about me sexually in a dress. I would feel bad taking your ma's place in your life.
