This seems perfect. Photo printer, with scanner and a little LCD on it and best of all...wireless. Now the big question. Is this a quality product or a piece of junk?

I bought this printer about 4 months ago for about $120 at best buy. Setup was a little lengthy, but got it up and running on a Windows pc. I also set up the Canon software on a Mac, which was a little more difficult (probably b/c i don't really know Macs too well yet), but I got both working. Downside to this printer is that you cannot set up the wireless info from the printer alone. You need to have it connected to your pc via USB; which i think somewhat defeats the purpose. Once its set up, it works pretty good, although it may take a while to print if it's been sitting idle for a while. Every once in a while i would change a wireless setting on my router and the printer would lose connection; and in order to reconnect the printer to the wireless network, you would have to hook it up to your PC via USB. But I found the next best thing is to use a USB-drive and have windows copy the wireless netword settings (via Windows Connect or something like that), and plug that into the printer to set it up.

i have the blue version (mp620b) which is less expensive for some reason (got if for $99 at bestbuy). great printer and scanner. idk about refurb though. i agree with #3, a little tricky on the mac, but not too bad. it scans over wireless as well, which is really nice. I always keep it off when i'm not using it, and it never has any trouble connecting to the wireless when i turn it on - i haven't had to use a usb cable since initial setup. i also have a wireless brother laser and that was a lot more difficult to set up than this printer.
