I've really enjoyed the LG Env line of phones. Best phones I've ever used. Call quality has always been great - loud, clear, strong signals, and very few dropped calls. The thing I enjoy the most about them is the battery life. The battery lasts over a week with normal usage - daily txts, and 2-3 10 minute phone calls a day. Screens are good, and speakers are good as well. I've thrown quite a few cartoons on it for my daughter to watch. The headphone jack needs to be moved to the top of the phone, rather than the side though. Saving to the memory card on mine is a bit slow at times for some reason. I would recommend the LG Env line of phones.
