i bought the refurbed nuvi from newegg and then upgraded it with freshmaps (2yr $40). Couldn't be happier as it upgrades all the software with the 1st freshmaps refresh. Garmin is outdated as soon as you put it in and they rob you for updates.

check the torrent sites and pay nothing for maps.
