Uh, they both suck. Use Comodo for a firewall (free) and Avira Antivir for an antivirus (free).

i bet you that they take up the same amount of overhead.. often there are 2 programs in 1 package plus the "package" software.

Sorry, but this stuff should be free at this point. There are better free options out there now that have less bloat and do the same job. Oh, and they're not the leading edge security suites, and as such virii and other malware are not written to circumvent them as much as the Norton and McAfee security suites.
