Check out some of the pics of this thing mounted to a motherboard. This thing is so hilariously huge.

Yes it is huge ... But it works hilariously well. I have one
it fits just fine in my case.

sometimes people go for looks too. I mean, most people do. This thing looks like a car engine. Pretty cool to me.

It's pretty nice in the bang for buck category while still maintaining visual appeal.
As for size, it's fairly narrow despite how tall it is. It snuck in my midtower beautifully. There are a lot of really fat ones out there that aren't as good at clearing your memory coolers and other various motherboard structures.
I was also quite pleased with the 50 degree difference between the V8 and my stock POS fan from intel. =)

Yes, unfortunately with how low the Sunbeam sits you may discover it can't clear your memory fins with that hanging fan. If consumers are too be believed it appears the Sunbeam isn't compatible with a good number of boards.
As far as noise and better cooling, that's debateable. The V8 put my 3ghz i7 into the same temp range as my ancient opteron 165. That's far better results than any review I read before I bought it. The official noise specs are exactly the same if you believe the listings, either of which can't be heard over what is probably cooling decent graphics. I also paid <$55, but that's neither here nor there.
Clearly, results vary:
