Unfortunately 3650 with DDR2 are normaly a deal at $30, so I wouldn't suggest this. It you'd like a nice low power consumption card in a single slot look at this for $8 more.

A 4650 is clocked higher with DDR3 memory for lots more bandwidth (uses 2x64-bit)on the 128-bit interface 320 shaders; 4x the texture units and 2x the rasters.

#2 -- This isn't like Nvidia... In this case actual model matrix denotes some substantial improvements. Not like the current spin the “Green Team” is going for by adding the 'green nomenclature' to there cards’, while maintaining the same price structure or incases charging more.

At least Nvidia isn't a Canadian company like ATI. Canadians aren't known for their intellectual skills - just lumber-jacking, moose-humping, and maple syrup production.

Ah, my understand is that when AMD brought some of the original ATI staff like Andrew Dodd, Terry Makedon and Ian McNaughton with the purchase back three years ago most uprooting to the Silicon Valley office just for the transition. But since that point they've been picking up new team members for programming and shakedowns that your point isn't all that valid today. Since ATI implement new driver updates monthly thing have been moving ahead very much enhanced.
Now, the question is who does Jen-Hsun Huang have? My understanding is he has a ton of under-paid ants that do his bidding, fail and he swashes them like the ant he sees’s them as.
My point... is either position better for anybody... other than you?

Still doesn't change the fact that AMD forces their manufacturers to use maple syrup instead of proper thermal compound for their video card coolers. This might explain why their video cards run so hot.

Thermal compound is easily replaced, while the issues with GTX 280 PCBs' frying mean RMA time! I personally like the last forums post for such issues… Elegant!

One more time, let me remind some people that it's dumb to talk about performance on the low end cards. Pick based on output support and the heatsink type you want, or accept you need to pay for much better cards to ever realize any benefit from higher performance besides a few of yesteryear's games but unfortunately you didn't buy it yesteryear so now you're facing the future.

#19 - I will give you partly that consideration, Ryan bacon cut finger-tips off, mess up her teeth, but doesn’t know that silicone boobies have serial numbers. Her biggest attraction was his downfall.
