I bought this a while back- paid $160 for it. The quality of video is great and the unit is easy to use. I really don't know why anyone would screw around with a full size cam. I read a lot of reviews and this one seemed to be vastly superior to the "Flip". I haven't been disappointed.

Too bad it doesn't have any additional memory slot. Seems like a pretty inexpensive thing to add onto it.

It doesn't really need an additional memory slot. It has enough memory to shoot 2 hours of HD footage. I haven't had any issues with memory.

The next gen model is $150 pre-order @ amazon today. I think it's lighter than this model, not sure what else is different.
