Didn't know Adorama had their own brand of battery/chargers, but still, I'd stick to Sanyo Eneloops.

FYI #1. Digital Concepts is not an Adorama brand. I have a couple of card readers with that brand that I got at Office Max a few years ago.

Don't know about the batteries/charger, but their card readers are a cut above most.

Digital concepts makes cheap products both quality and price wise.

No way it could be any good for $10. Four decent batteries cost more than that.

Eneloop batteries are the best Ni-Mh I have found and Amazon has a great price on them.

LaCrosse makes the best charger I've found for these.

I got this advice on Ben's over a year ago and having bought and used the Eneloop batteries and LaCross charger for that long certainly proves they gave me good advice. Happy to pass it along.

I heard from friends that Digital Concept brand is horrible. That's why you find them a lot at DD's and Ross..

I got some Sanyo rechargeable batteries from over 10 years ago and they still work, but doesn't hold charge like new anymore. Sanyo's the best.

I've stopped buying regular NiMH batteries as well. I look for any of the pre-charged/hybrid/low-self-discharge ones. I haven't really seen that much difference in the brands. They have a bit less mAH rating, but the long shelf life makes them much better for everything I use.

Fry's has an occasional deal on AA Rayovac low-discharge, 4-pack for under $5.00. These are supposed to be close to or as good as eneloops.
