Do you really think they will drop the price that much for black friday? And if so, what do you think the 240 hz version will cost?

LG 47LH50 (youtube, yahoo wiget access thru wired ethernet) on sale at Frys for about the same price. It was even lower 10 days ago (also at Frys) a one day special sale for $900. Speaking of 240 hz, you don't really need it unless for very fast moving picture like racing car, sports. For daily viewing, this feature is turn off by default in natural, standard, movie picture setting. Even CNET guys turn it off (120/240 hz) while reviewing picture quality. Don't waste your $200-$250 for that 240 hz, instead investing in LED models, you will be more than happy with stunning picture for around $300 more (upgrade from LCD models).

Black Friday last year was disappointing. Still, I would wait for it this year and see if the LH90 is affordable. In the meantime plasmas are a way better deal. The 50 inch Panasonic s1 was under a grand on here yesterday.http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&Q=?kbid=1023&IC=PATCP50S1&A=RetrieveSku

I just bought this TV. There is a serious lip sync problem that is widely written about on blogs. I called LG and they are sending someone out with a firmware fix.
