Good deal on a decent HD camcorder, though you do have to add the cost of memory. Just don't expect very good performance in low light.

Yeah-none of these really have any guts in low light. It seems one must sacrifice convenience for great quality. Right now, I am definitely asking too much but I am waiting for a flash-based, convenient P&S that takes archival-type video at a good price point. Seems it shouldn't be too much longer.
