Kaspersky will offer 3 free AR soon. Less upfront payment to worry about too.

Many DSL and cable ISPs provide Antivirus free to their customers. It is usually Norton or McAfee.

This is pure shite AV, You system will crawl after installing, Use some free like Avg, Avast etc, a lot better than this box of crap...

Once again:

Enough with this BULLSHIT GARBAGE software!

AVAST Home Edition (Free) or AVG FREE, is all you need.

Whats stopping me from getting this and installing or activating it on more than one computer? I see its a one user license, but what does that mean, really? Not particularly interested in mcafee, but I am curious.

Any of the free ones (without AR) that work well?

I wonder why they make it paid, if the software can do same thing as others, then again I wonder if they really put some effort in it to make it worthwhile for our money...
hmmmmm..

If you get the rebate back you are only out the tax. From the day you activate McAfee the timer starts, 1 year later it's time to pay.

1 year later: Well it's already installed, I'll just renew it online.

These things suck. It is impossible to get rid of it once it's in your machine and that's how they make their money. Such a cheap way of doing business.
