I have heard this camera requires a flash update to be able to use NIMH batteries. What was Nikon thinking to not let you use anything other then disposables?

Can someone who owns one comment on the IS when using full zoom?

Dell had it for the same price but they have been OOS for awhile.

I've got this camera. The IS when at full zoom can get a bit tricky. I would say I have a 50% success rate at full zoom. I've used nothing but disposable batteries so far, so have no clue about using with NIMH.
