Got one of these for g/f since her 11.6" laptop didn't have an optical drive...she has no complaints

They're nice to have for netbooks and subnotebooks and I'll buy one if it's cheap enough. I use an internal drive + enclosure for occasional use; if you need to carry it around then it seems to me you should have gotten a built in optical drive to begin with.
