for $150 this is a great start to a fixed gear bike, pull off the crappy components, rebuild (or buy new) the rear wheel, get a decent front brake, enjoy.

A junk bike, is a junk bike.
I road a huffy 10-Speed with a rear disc brake when I was in the Navy, It was heavy, and it was tough riding drunk, but I never had a problem with it.
The $158 road bike looks ok, but I wouldn't expect to be handin' to my kids one day.
