I got one of these for free in a newegg combo deal a couple weeks ago. Not too bad on the transfer rate in the USB adapter. Large file reads around 20 MB/sec. Small file reads around 12 MB/sec. Large file writes around 6.4 MB/sec. Small file writes around 4.5 MB/sec.
