does it speak out street names? it's not mentioned in the specs so i guess not?

That's right, #2, if the specs. don't say so, it doesn't. If you want TTS in an otherwise identical model, the 330S is at Amazon for about $7 more. Certainly worth the difference in my book, at least in general. I've never used the 330S myself.
