Can't say I'm a big fan of the fancy sculpted handle grips, usually when you're grabbing for adjustable pliers it's a one-off job where there's not enough repetitive use that it would help, but with the sculpted handles it limits a bit how you can best grip them in close quarters.
If this is what you want, true you can pick up similar enough anywhere, though you'll only save a small amount, offset by the time and gas to get there.
