    Good Price. But be aware that the WDTV2 will be coming out shortly that has some added improvements (Network capability, etc...).

    Bought this model from the WD Store as a refurb. Looked new. Works very well and now I burn fewer DVDs. One word of caution:
    Unless the firmware upgrade is not actually on your USB device when you insert it into the WD unit, the menu option to update firmware will not appear.

    I got one of these from TechSunny, it came very poorly packaged (in a cardboard envelope) and no usb drive was included, so good luck.

    It is easy to add network capability to this unit with hacked firmware and 100MBt or 1GBt LAN adapter.

    I will wait until the newer generation comes out so the prices of the older ones drop to around $60, then I will pick up one that supports RMVB.
